Maya began to feel uncomfortable with Rick taunting Aly, especially when he made Aly rub Maya's feet and give her room up to Nicole. Maya became rattled when Nicole said she knew a secret about her and threatened to go to Rick with it; Maya was so upset when Nicole showed up to her photo shoot that it had to be postponed. Frantic, Maya begged Carter to do a background check on Nicole, who said she had left her UCLA dorm due to intolerable conditions. When Carter discovered that Nicole had dropped out of college, Maya confronted Nicole but was stunned speechless when Nicole reported finding Maya's hidden birth certificate in their parents' home, revealing that Maya had been born Myron Avant! Maya confessed to Nicole that she had always identified as female, and, after years of their parents' disapproval, she had come to Los Angeles to initiate her transition. Maya schooled her misinformed sister about what a transgender woman is and isn't, declaring she had nothing to be ashamed of. Asked about the baby she had lost, Maya admitted that the girl had been the biological child of a troublemaking boyfriend (presumably Jesse Graves) and that Maya had become the baby's legal guardian before going to prison forced her to give her "daughter" up for adoption. When Nicole insisted that Maya tell Rick about being transgender, Maya informed her sister that was her choice to make. As Maya tried to broach the truth with Rick, he instead turned the subject to Maya's discomfort with Nicole staying on; Nicole overheard and pressed that issue, causing Maya to backpedal. In front of Rick, Maya told Nicole she wanted a sisterly relationship; privately, Maya added she would only divulge being designated male at birth to Rick if he proposed. Maya was unsettled when Nicole, angry that Maya had abandoned her as a child, demanded a car and said she'd take care of Maya if Maya took care of her. Maya gave in and made arrangements for the test model shoot Nicole wanted. While arguing with Nicole over her gender identity, Maya was horrified to discover that Carter had overheard. Maya apologized profusely for not telling Carter the truth while they were involved, and worried when Carter felt Rick had a right to know, but Maya breathed a sigh of relief when Carter ultimately agreed to keep Maya's secret. Later, Rick found a bottle of estrogen Maya needed to take for her hormone replacement; she told Rick she needed the pills to "regulate" her, then became emotional wondering if their relationship had a future. Maya was stunned as Rick told her, in front of Nicole, that he planned to be on one knee once his divorce from Caroline was final; Nicole interpreted that as a proposal, but Maya resisted her sister's insistence that it was time to tell Rick the truth about herself. Watching as Nicole began spending time with the powerful Bill Spencer's son, Wyatt Fuller Spencer, Maya became concerned because of the speed of their connection, plus the fact that Wyatt's brother, Liam Spencer, was Rick's enemy. Assured by Nicole that she wouldn't divulge anything to Wyatt, Maya was surprised when Nicole equated Wyatt with Rick because they were both rich, and suggested that perhaps Maya need not tell Rick about being transgender after all. Maya was stunned that news of her transgender identity was spreading across Forrester; Maya defended herself when Brooke came to her demanding that she reveal herself to Rick, as he was preparing to propose. Maya loved it when Rick swept her off her feet and took her to the family cabin in Big Bear; as Rick got down on one knee with a ring, Maya told Rick the story of how she had transitioned from Myron. Before Rick could process the news, he and Maya discovered that Bill had gotten wind of it and run Maya's story in his publications. When Rick called it an embarrassment, Maya bolted; on the phone while driving separately down the mountain, Maya asked Rick if he still wanted to marry her, taking their disconnected call as his refusal. Maya resigned from Forrester Creations and holed up in her old apartment above Dayzee's, surprised when Nicole came to her and admitted that the leak about Maya's identity had come from her. Maya forgave her sister.

Kim Matula had laatst op insta gezet dat ze voorlopig nog niet terug wilde komen. Wel jammer eigenlijk... En Maya inderdaad. Ik ga morgen dat stuk eens lezen maar dat vond ik ook zo vreemd. Net als dat ik me afvraag, hope zei dat ze door de stress van hftf dacht overtijd te zijn. In die tijd was ze toch met Liam? Hoe is ze er dan zo zeker van dat het kindje van Wyatt is?
Las net dat Ferry doedens vanaf vrijdag een paar dagen te zien is in de serie, ben wel benieuwd hoe hij dat doet.
Wat een drama weer he. Caroline en Ridge, kom op zeg. Aan die Maya irriteer ik mij alleen maar. Mag ze aub een paar acteerlessen gaan volgen?
Hoe ver lopen ze eigenlijk voor in Amerika? Ben benieuwd naar die verhaallijn over Maya. Ik vind haar echt bloed irritant.

Ik had toen uitgerekend dat we rond aankomend december/januari ongeveer gelijk lopen. Kan het me bijna niet voorstellen
volgens mij loopt het een jaar achter, maar t komt dichterbij elkaar omdat hier dubbele afleveringen komen..
Weet iemand waar de Marones en Bridget gebleven zijn? Die verhaallijnen zijn niet bijgewerkt geloof ik. Of ik mis echt een heel stuk.
Ik snap helemaal niks van de verhaallijn van maya....hoe kan ze nou een baby hebben gekregen en transgender zijn... ben benieuwd hoe ze dat gaan doen....
