Namelijk, ik had mijn 12 weken echo gisteren en alles zag goed op de echo uit met NT = 2.18 mm but my blood results came back with low PAPP-a 0.310 MoM beta HCG 0.300 MoM they gave me 1:79 chance for trisomy 13 and 1:57 chance for trisomy 18 Anyone with similar blood tests and what was your outcome? I am having follow up scan and harmony test done on Monday at AMC in Amsterdam. Does anyone have good experience with AMC? Also, how long did you wait for the NIPT test results?

Hier twee keer een hele lage papp-a waarde, maar vrij b-hcg niet heel erg. Precieze waarden weet ik niet meer. NT normaal. Beide keren een gezond kindje. Heel veel sterkte gewenst! Bij ons was het totale risico nog beperkt door goede nt, maar ondanks dat vond ik het al stressen.
Hier Een pap a gehad van 0.1 maar mijn hcg was juist hoog...geloof 1.5. Mijn nekplooi was 1.4...Ik heb een gezond kindje gekregen. Wel zat er een chromosoomafwijking in de placenta. Sterkte!
dames, bedankt voor de reactie. As they havent seen any soft markers on the scan, I am still hoping for a good outcome, but will have to wait it through and see. I also had a miscariage last year, so this is not easy. merah, may I ask if they followed you closely later on in the pregnancy as I read that low PAPP-a can mean that (if no chromosomal abnormalities) placenta is not functioning properly and is often related to slow growth of the baby?
Dat is mij inderdaad ook verteld (verminderde placenta-werking ed), maar ik heb geen extra echo's gehad op voorhand. Bij de oudste heb ik uiteindelijk wel een extra groei-echo gehad, omdat ze dachten dat ze klein zou zijn. Dit bleek niet het geval. Bij de bevalling bleek de placenta wel kleiner dan normaal (ze noemden het een 'tweeling-placenta'), hetgeen de lage papp-a kan verklaren. Mijn tweede dochter had naast een lage papp-a ook een softmarker (echodense focus in hart), maar bij haar heb ik ook geen extra echo's gehad. Bij de bevalling zag de placenta er gewoon normaal uit.
Ik had ook lage papp-a en lage b-hcg. Nekplooi was 1.8. Syndroom van Down gaat gepaard met laag papp-a en hoog b-hcg. Uiteindelijk zes weken te vroeg bevallen. Placenta klein en met van allerlei dingen erin. Maar kindje prematuur, maar gezond (geen klein kindje trouwens, geen groeiachterstand ondanks kleine placenta).
I was at AMC in Amsterdam yesterday. They did medical in depth scan of about 30 min where they looked at every single thing and all looked good. They said it used to be 3 weeks when they first started with it but now she can guarantee I will have results within 2 weeks. They also said, they are actually doing the testing in the AMC, maybe that is why, their results are a bit faster. I find waiting 3 weeks crazy! They were very nice and comforting and sort of said that according to the scan, I have nothing to worry about, but of course I would like to get that same result from the test. They said they would call and not send email or a letter. Also, they said they get 10 women per week with such results and most turn out to be ok. Good luck to you waiting, I find it very hard and it has only been one day p.s. they measure NT again and it was lower than what lady last week measured, so they said my risk would also be slightly lower than what they gave me originally Jatobe, I would be more than happy with that scenario
