hallo allemaal Ik ben ben nieuw hier. Ik heet wendy en ben 33 jaar. In Nederland heb ik 7 iui behandelingen gehad en 3 keer icsi. We zijn bezig met een icsi behandeling in gent. Heb afgelopen dinsdag mijn puctie gehad...ik had 18 eicellen. Ze belde me woensdag op dat er 13 bevruchtingen zijn. Ik krijg geen terugplaatsing omdat ze vermoeden dat ik een poliep heb... Ik heb vandaag vrijdag weer gebeld.. op dit moment waren er nog 12. Zijn er meer bezig nu in gent?
Eigenlijk pas maandag, vandaag wel bloed geprikt en een test gedaan. Deze was positief Ik heb 1 icsi poging in Nederland gedaan. Daarvoor met clomid geprobeerd en OI. Dit liep helaas op niks uit. In België was dit de 2e poging. Ik had 63 follikels, 48 eicellen waarvan 41 bevrucht en daarvan zijn er 17 de vriezer ingegaan. 1 na een rust maand teruggeplaatst gekregen. Hopelijk was dit ook meteen de laatste En jij?
Ow wat super!! En 17 in de vriezer Whoo wat netjes!! Ik moet donderdag weer naar gent dan gaan ze kijken of er een poliep zit. En dinsdag hoor ik hoeveel er de vriezer in gaan.. Ik ben wel heel benieuwd.. deze behandeling betalen we nu ook zelf. Maar ik had veel eerder na gent moeten gaan
Ja wij zijn gelukkig de 2e ronde meteen gegaan. Ik had geen goed gevoel bij nog een ronde in Nederland en blijkbaar was dit terecht! In Gent vonden ze meteen dat mijn schildklier te traag was. Dat hebben we aangepakt en meteen eerste terugplaatsing is raak ❤
Ben echt zo blij voor jullie! Ik ben vandaag gebeld er zijn 5 top embryo’s de vriezer in. 3 hadden ze al op zondag gedaan en 2 maandag..moet donderdag naar het ziekenhuis in gent voor een echo voor die poliep die ze vermoeden dat er zit

We also had first IVF attempt in The Netherlands, which unfortunately failed. Very frustrating experience, especially because the hospital made a mistake in our protocol - prescribed and instructed us for short, while it was supposed to be long per their records. They didn't discover it until we had post-mortem discussion with the doctor and pointed that to her. So neither during the treatment, nor after IVF results being reviewed internally in hospital, that mistake was discovered. Language barrier is certainly not the reason, as my partner is Dutch. Now I consider switching to Belgium and would appreciate if you could share some details. Were there any particular reasons you selected Ghent vs Jette? Are you going to Ghent for every echo? I know it's possible to do echo in NL and send them results, but not sure how to arranged it in practice...
Hi. I went to Gent because it was closer for us. We now had a drive of 4 hours back and forth. We didn't go to Gent for all the echo's. Only the one's who needed to be there. I went to a private clinic (nij linge) and had the echo's there. They write a report and i mailed that to the hospital, you also need to draw blood with every echo but the hospital faxed that to Gent. Then they reviewd that and called me with the results. I went to Belgium cause we didnt have enough faith in Holland. And thank God we did cause they discovered my thyroid problem on the first day there! I got medication and the next try i got pregnant. So yeah, we're very happy with Gent. Even with all the stuff that's very weird. My insurance pays for everything but still had to pay €3800 out of our own money and hopefully we get the nota this week so we can finally send it to the insurance so we get it back. At the embryo transfer we also needed to pay €200. So be prepared that if your insurance doesnt have a direct line with the hospital that u need to pay this in advance!
