Hai What you are looking for is called a "verloskundige" It is like a midwife, you checks you up but is also there for your delivery. You will need to go to your GP (huisarts) to get to a Gynacologist. If you need more info, just give a shout.
Hi Emilia, I think the best thing you can do is first contact a normal "house"doctor. I think he can tell you exactly where to go to and what to do. In Holland it is not normal to go to a gynaecologist if you don't have any medical reason. Here we go to a so called "verloskundigenpraktijk". You can also call to a "verloskundigenpraktijk", without going to doctor. Go to www.degoudengids.nl and type in "verloskundigenpraktijk" in "Amsterdam". You get a list of phonenumbers and addresses where you can call to. Succes!
